My dish drawer needs repair, was told that the regional manager would phone me within 24 to 48 hours. That was on january 28th. Fast forward february 12, still no call. Each time I phone(4 times) I am told a different story, about when I will receive a call. Real poor customer service. When I purchased the dish drawer I was not aware that Fisher Paykel does not have repair service in this area. Will not purchase from F/P again, they have no interest in consumer, after the sale. I bought a Fisher & Paykel white refrigerator model E522B. Within a year, paint wore off all around door handle with normal use and only mild cleaning. Poor quality. Poor support from customer service. They offered to SELL us new doors. That's right, sell. We asked them to send us the paint and they wouldn't even provide us touch up paint. The size is good and performance is ok, but the paint finish is terrible and worst of all was the lack of customer service. I'd never buy another product from this company! Read more

The range was installed before a long trip and an even longer kitchen remodeling, so never had an opportunity to test it out. Upon returning determined the oven was not working - yep, right before Thanksgiving. I called the toll free number and was provided the name/number of the regional maintenance company. I purchased a Fisher and Paykel washer and dryer about 6 years ago. What really sold me was a feature on the dryer. It is top loading which is very convenient since I have a rather small laundry room. Also thought the lint collection system was pretty cool. There is a cup that slides into an area on the inside of the dryer on the left side and the lint is deposited into the cup. You slide it out and just turn it upside down to empty it. I used their website email facility to request assistance with a 2 month old microwave/convection oven. They responded with "somebody will contact you within 24-48 hours".....2 weeks later nothing.....sent a fax to their Customer Service Office (got confirmation of fax going thru)....no acknowledgement or anything from them. 6 weeks later wrote letter personally to CEO and faxed this thru - again, confirmation of fax going thru....NOTHING.....involved Better Business Bureau....24 hrs later Fisher's Customer Service Manager replies to BBB... I have a drawer dishwasher that is broken. Both the Fisher & Paykel agents in SW England are on holiday for two weeks. At the same time. It is situated in a self-catering cottage which I now cannot let. F & P have not responded to my numerous complaints about their lack of service support. Seriously, if you buy from a global brand like Miele or NEFF you expect global support. I will not buy F & P again. From the day I purchased this machine all I had was trouble. Seems the officially licensed repairman also didn't know how to install/repair the machine. they officially offer a warranty but it keeps breaking and some parts weren't covered and it is a disaster. we emailed and they responded in word but not deeds. As in, they sent another guy who told me he didn't have enough experience to figure it out. Why sell a machine that breaks and no one knows how to fix it. Please, do not buy this. It is not worth it. The really frustrating thing, I can't get a F&P certified repair dude out to my house to fix it!! I've called them several times - no service dude in my area. REALLY??? Both the top and bottom drawers will start beeping, out of the blue, for no reason. I can have the drawers slightly open (which is supposed to guarantee that they are in the OFF mode) and they still start beeping. I have to cut the power at the electric panel box. Two of my igniters stopped working on my 9yr.old range. When I called Fisher Paykel they referred me to a couple different repair companies, I had both companies come out ($300.00 cost) both told me the same thing - the unit could not be repaired due to a design flaw. When I contacted Fisher Paykel to ask for their help (for a total of 6 months) they refused to do anything due to it being 9yrs. old. When you purchase a $10,000 appliance you expect to keep it for longer than 9yrs. Now I have a great looking piece of junk I need to replace. Do... Read more
